Audacity:
Audacity is a free, easy-to-use audio editor and recorder. Audacity can record live audio through a microphone or mixer, or digitize recordings from cassette tapes, vinyl records, or minidiscs. With some sound cards, it can also capture streaming audio.
VST-bridge-1.1.dll:
This plug-in allows Audacity 1.2.4 and higher to support VST plug-ins. Just extract it into Audacity's "Plug-ins" folder.
lame_enc.dll:
Allows Audacity to export MP3 files. Put into Audacity's main folder.
LADSPA_plugins-win-0.4.15:
Allows Audacity to load plug-ins. They say 90, but mine loaded around 40.
KRISTAL:
KRISTAL Audio Engine is a powerful multi-track recorder, audio sequencer and mixer - ideal for anyone wanting to get started with recording, mixing and mastering digital audio.
QuickAudio 2.0:
QuickAudio lets you edit, play and record digital audio as well as convert between various popular audio formats. It has standard audio editing features, multiple undo, audio spectrum analysis as well as support for up to 24 VST plugins. Zoom out to edit your whole waveform at once or zoom in to edit individual samples. Cut and paste between as many files as you like.
MediaMonkey:
MediaMonkey , made by Ventis Media Inc, is an audio player that also functions as a media library. It maintains its library in a database that is compatible with Microsoft's Access database format, and as such, the database entries can be changed by using Access or other compatible programs.
MultitrackStudio Lite 5.1:
You can try MultitrackStudio Lite for free. Its main limitation is that it can't handle more than 3 tracks. See the feature matrix for a full list.
WavePad Sound Editor:
This sound editing software is a full featured professional audio editor for Windows. It lets you make and edit music, voice and other audio recordings. When editing audio files you can cut, copy, and paste parts of recordings, if required.
AP Guitar Tuner:
AP Guitar Tuner, the worlds most advanced guitar tuner.
ZipCentral 4.01:
ZipCentral is a free zip file manager, it creates and extracts from zip files for those of you who need to unzip the programs.
HAMMERHEAD RHYTHM STATION:
HammerHead is a simple TR-909-like drum computer program. You can use it to create perfect Techno loops, Jungle patterns or House beats, but it's also suitable for Hip Hop, Triphop, Rap, Industrial and almost any other music you can think of. HammerHead features six separate channels, 29 built-in drum sounds, six complete breakbeats and the possibility to import six samples of your own. You can save your patterns to completely noise-free CD-quality wave files to use them with your sampler, tracker or sequencer program.
Classic Auto-Filter:
The Classic Auto-Filter is an analog modeled four-pole filter with resonance control.
Classic Chorus:
Classic Chorus is a great sounding and easy to use classical Chorus VST plugin.
Classic Compressor:
Classic Compressor is a classic analog style VST Compressor Plugin with a lot of warmth.
Classic Delay:
The Classic Delay emulates three of the most commonly used delays / echo sounds types.
Classic EQ:
Classic EQ is a 7 Band Stereo Equaliser with a warm analog sound, well suited to make non-surgical tonal corrections.
Classic Flanger:
Take a trip back to the mid 80's with our Classic Flanger.
Classic Master Limiter:
The Classic Master Limiter VST plugin is specially designed to boost the overall level of your final mixes.
Classic Phaser:
The Classic Phaser emulates analog phasers from the 70s and 80s.
Classic Reverb:
Classic Reverb is a nice and smooth reverb that does a good job on almost any instrument.
CDBurner XP:
CDBurnerXP is an easy to use CD/DVD burning software, that can write CD-R and CD-RW discs. The program can also write disks directly from an ISO image file, and save image as an ISO image file (*.iso). You can create data and audio CDs, and it supports Burn-Proof technology, multi-session disks, import of ISO images and more. In addition to CD burning, you can also rip audio CDs, normalize WAV files, encode MP3 files, erase disks, and more. The program can also convert .bin and .nrg (Nero) images to .ISO format.
Wavosaur:
Wavosaur is an audio editor with support for ogg, wav, aiff, iff, mp3, Wavpack and raw binary files. It includes the standard editing features (cut, copy, mix, trim, normalize, fade in/out etc.) as well as loop point editing, synthesis generators, 3D and 2D spectrum analysis and more. Wavosaur also offers support for VST plugins, ASIO drivers, batch processing, stereo/mono conversion and more. All of this is a small executable that does not require an installation.
Audioblast:
Audioblast is a sound editor for WAV and MP3 files that supports all the standard editing features (copy, paste, make echo, change volume etc.) as well as several special effects and a choice of graphic schemes. It also includes advanced volume adjustments and normalizing, fade-in and fade-out, and an option to add silence to the end of the track. You can mix your own tracks, adjust the speed, record audio via your microphone and more. AudioBlast comes with a synthesizer, and even a Morse code converter.
